The purpose of this publication is to acquaint readers with the main and most relevant concepts of the business world in English. It consists of 10 Units, which contain the basic theoretical material on the most pressing issues of a business nature and a complex of assignments for translation and work with terminology, both for individual and group work.

The technological processes of treatment of biomass into prospective materials are considered in the textbook. Intended for Master’s Degree Students of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Technological Equipment of the direction of training 35.04.02 «Technology of logging and wood processing industries» under the training program «Energy-saving technologies for processing forest resources into promising materials» (the discipline is «Basics of special methods of biomass processing into prospective materials»), as well as for post-graduate students and teachers.

Приведена информация о мониторинге как способе повышения языковых знаний студентов. Даются рекомендации по подготовке к каждому разделу этого экзамена. Предназначено для студентов, которые углубленно изучают английский язык и готовятся к сдаче международного аттестационного экзамена TOEFL IBT.
