The Study Guide is intended for practical courses in EAP (English for Academic Purposes) for training students to present research projects in the English language.

Theoretical material, case studies and exercises aimed at the development of professional skills of students are presented.

The study guide contains individual test tasks, which can be used to control student achievements in the topic «Hydrolysis».

Textbook consists of texts by 9 themes in accordance with problem-chronological principle, questions and tasks, themes for reports, sources. Klue tendencies of historical process are illustrated. Textbook meets the requirements of existing educational standards and reflects the experience of teaching the history in English of bachelors, studing the history course at Kazan National Research Technological University. The team of authors includes teachers of the Faculty of Humanities and the Department of Foreign Languages of professional competence of Kazan National Research Technological University.

В основе учебного пособия лежит идея взаимосвязанного и одновременного развития профессиональных и коммуникативных языковых компетенций, необходимых в профессиональном общении будущих специалистов в области высокоэнергетических материалов. Цель пособия - подвести студентов к чтению оригинальной литературы по специальности и ведению беседы на темы, предусмотренные программой языковой подготовки третьего поколения.
