ученые, инженеры последовательно брали слово, и их выступления прерывались
только аплодисментами. Каждый вспоминал усилия, затраченные в этот
период и блестящие результаты, которые были достигнуты благодаря общей
деятельности, благодаря работе всех, стремящихся к одной цели. Все поздравляли
друг друга, закаленные руки рабочих встретились с руками ученых,
и в этом замечательном братстве исчезли все различия происхождения и образования».

"There was a brotherly, cheerful atmosphere everywhere. Then the speeches
began. Officials, scientists, engineers consistently took the floor, and their
speeches were interrupted only by applause. Everyone remembered the efforts
expended during this period and the brilliant results that were achieved thanks
to common activities, thanks to the work of all striving for the same goal.
Everyone congratulated each other, the hardened hands of the workers met the
hands of scientists, and in this wonderful brotherhood all differences of origin
and education disappeared."
